Hello, let me start by saying I do think scratch is a trustworthy site that wouldn't purposefully do harm to any of it's users' PCs, I believe this may just be a bug or antivirus glitch on my behalf.

So, as most if not all of you know, scratch is going down for a few days next weekend, and I wanted to download the app so I can still code and have fun.
Thus, I went to download the app, and chose ‘Direct Download’ when I did, a minute or so later, the download bar at the bottom said ‘Cancelled Virus Detected’ so can someone tell me why it said that please?? I really am just confused, probably just a glitch but how do I download it normally?

I think this is just Firewall being extra careful but if it's not and it's a glitch with scratch I wanted to let you all know so you can fix it.

Edit: wait I see what you mean by direct download lol, nvm its the top one

I used the link from the latest homepage announcement, also on this website, so I didn't go anywhere not secure

what browser were you using and if you have an antivirus, which one do you have?
