I was gonna do this with M-RUN, but I wasn't sure how to do it. How is this gonna work? Kernel, C compiler, and Init system are all in Scratch, and everything else is in a RISC-V emulator. I am just going to port the Unix utilities from busybox, and compile it for RISC-V.

using freebsd kernel as a base, its kinda simple at heart, and should (hopefully) fit under the 4 mb limit.

You could kind of cheat by just implenting the kernel calls, instead of using a risc-v emulator and stuff. Would that work? Also you'll probably have to emulate a “gpu”

A lot of computers can run without a GPU, i'll just link it directly to a COM port. Also i am implementing the kernel in scratch.
