I feel like a straight ally flag would be…more respectful as a profile picture? Not sure

Is this what you mean? “A straight flag or heterosexual flag is a pride flag intended to represent heterosexuality. Some straight flags represent straight pride, a conservative countermovement to gay pride. There is also the straight ally flag, which is intended to represent allyship by straight people with the LGBT community.”

(#4)it would not be against the community guidelines to have a straight flag as your PFP as you aren't putting anybody down. however, while you won't be banned (most likely), you might get a lot of trolls, like Right-wing Discussion did before it was taken down.I mean just using the regular black and white straight flagIs this what you mean? “A straight flag or heterosexual flag is a pride flag intended to represent heterosexuality. (#7)No, not necessarily an ally, saying you are straight isn't against the CG.
yes as long as you are an ally
Unless, of course, there are a lot of negative connotations associated with the straight flag besides “I support straight and LGBTQ don't like that,” in which case you might be banned.

The straight flag itself is associated with anti-LGBTQ connotations (afaik)(#7)No, not necessarily an ally, saying you are straight isn't against the CG.

So it's better to use the straight ally flag.

Saying “I am straight” is not against the Community Guidelines. Using the “straight pride” flag (the one that is purely black-and-white) is against the Community Guidelines. While Gay Pride was enacted to help raise up a persecuted minority, the notion of “straight pride” is typically used as an attempt to diminish the goals of Gay Pride.(#7)No, not necessarily an ally, saying you are straight isn't against the CG.

If you are straight and you want to use a flag to represent that, use the “Straight Ally” flag, or use a general Pride flag. Do not use the “straight pride” flag — use the Report button on anyone who uses that flag.
