They can implement it wherever they want. As I've said before in other threads, BBCode is just a standard! It's not magically restricted to discussion forums!

BBCode can be confusing and contains scratchblocks, images, and links, none of which I think should exist. I think there should just be buttons:

instead.

I agree on that, all that I want to be added in is Bold, Italic,Underline and Strikethrough. that's all

Just have the new scratchers restrictions and having a sixty second rule if you use the bbcode or quotes.

Semi support. I'd like to be able to use bold, italicized, underlined, and struckthrough text types, and links as well, but I don't think we need scratchblocks or quotes, and we already have some emojis.

i think it would be cool to do something like this but bbcode sounds too far for the thing @paddle2see said, comments should remain simple.

bb code can also be used to say inappropriate things
I tried replicating it with a word that's allowed on scratch but filtered through the forum filter but it didn't seem to work

Quotes would be very hard to add with the censoring software

Support, although I hope this doesn't lead to spam :\. Maybe remove quoting and images? I really wish that we could use Markdown because it's just more natural, but that would make it inconsistent with the forum's markup. Having BBCode on the forums and Markdown on the comments isn't very cohesive…

quoting would be nice in comments, you can never tell what a person is replying to nowadays
