Changing all Scratch ranks on April Fool's Day to Yoshi

This will make New Scratchers New Yoshis, Scratchers become Yoshis, and the Scratch Team becomes the Yoshi Team.

Please save AFD suggestions for when it's actually April Fools' Day. Posting AFD suggestions in the middle of July is disruptive to actual suggestions.

It is a legitimate suggestion for April Fool's Day 2024.

No support. This doesn't sound like anything fun for April fools.
Also Yoshi is a copyrighted Nintendo character. So Scratch might be sued for this.

I don't think they would because 1. https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Scratch_Wiki:April_Fools/Scratch_in_the_Media/Cartoon_Network
And 2. How often is Nintendo checking Scratch?

Wow. What a fantastic idea. I just died from laughter at the thought of looking beneath my username, and rather than seeing the typical text of “Scratcher” it instead contains the humorous words, or should I say, word, “Yoshi”. The ST should absolutely consider this fantastic idea, nay, not even consider, they must add it right this instant. Permanent, of course, so all Scratchers may see this. Yoshi truly is the pinnacle of comedy.

By the way, my funeral is 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. on August 5th, in case anyone is curious, in theaters near you.

It's copyright and looks like a missed opportunity. What about the themes?

Scratch is a pretty low budget organisation, so I doubt they'd pay for the rights to an internationally popular video game character owned by an extremely rich video game creation company just to use the character's name underneath a person's profile picture for a couple days.

If they used Yoshi without the rights, chances are Nintendo would notice and they'd get sued. Nintendo will not hesitate to sue for alot of money over a character being briefly mentioned on another company's website, so Scratch would be on the verge of bankruptcy either way.

Yeah, I don't see this happening.

I don't think they would be sued because there are a lot of Mario games and Mario is mentioned in the Scratch Wiki.

The reason Mario games haven't been DMCA'd are because they aren't as noticeable, and are buried under hundreds of other projects. Have you ever seen a Mario project on the featured tab? If Mario projects were really noticeable, then Nintendo would probably order for them to be deleted.
