From what I've tested, Incognito, and signed out doesn't have that audio bug.
No, what I meant, is what device are you using? It’s kind of hard to understand what I’m talking about giving information, the earth icon to give information about your browser, device, flash settings, and etc.

Bump. Hope this gets noticed by Scratch Team soon.
Kind of did somewhere, I forgot where but they indeed respond to it.

bump. this is becoming a very debilitating issue for my projects that are WIP, and some of them even rely on sound or music. this should be a top priority, as none of these audio files are over 10MB.

I tried to compile a scratch project and the wave files didn't play. I tried restarting, but, no HDMI output came out. RIP my computer.I use mp3, but knowing that .vav won't work is helpful.
It's not just .mp3 or .wav. Scratch's built-in files also get automatically deleted. (I checked with the rain, the next thing I knew, poof.)

Yep! Large audio files are disappearing, those that seem to be over 60 seconds (please correct me) are vanishing without a trace. Small audio files are not.
Edit: (I know this because a large song file (that was not essential to my project) vanished, nothing else did.)
60+ second files are mostly saved. I have some other music in my background that is longer than 60 seconds, and they didn't get deleted.

I somewhat have a solution, I don't encounter this problem with mp3 files. It may just be a wav file thing.
My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 14541.0.0, Chrome 108.0.0.0, No Flash version detected
There has been a recent issue with audio files (at least for me) lately.
So, today, I uploaded a project with a song not more than 3 minutes long and 10mb, with ZERO explicit content, and the song worked fine for me when the project was uploaded.
I check now and *p o o f !* audio is gone. It's 0.00 seconds long.
I can't view some music files from others' projects, either.
This has been ongoing for a while now. I don't know why, I don't know how, I don't know if it's fixable, nothing.
Oh, and breaking audio into pieces doesn't work, either. I did this with a meme I made, MULTIPLE times with MULTIPLE breaks, and ALL of the chunks just disappear.
Any help?
(p.s. can this get stickied if it occurs to a large amount of other Scratchers?)

Can confirm. It's been quite a pain. I've spent 5+ months developing a project and now half of the audios are gone, not even joking. Most of them were uploaded with MP3, others taken from other projects with permission.I somewhat have a solution, I don't encounter this problem with mp3 files. It could, possibly, have to do with copyright claims.

Operating System: Windows 11. Browser: Google Chrome. I have GarageBand on iPad (6th Gen)
HELP!!! Every time I upload a song made on GarageBand for IOS (the project will not save if it's too long) and then reload the project anytime afterward, the audio track is replaced with a 0.00-second long line of nothingness!!! Is there any way to fix this?

1. This problem has already been mentioned a couple of times, generally outside of the posts. If the problem is already mentioned, please don't post a different / same problem on the post. It's only going to get complex.
2. No. Currently, no one knows why this is (besides possibly Scratch Team). So, yeah. Good luck :\

On top of that nobody has even solved it except for temporary fixes which are usually more complicated to do or have not been tested yet, besides this thread is just filled with people having the same problem and/or people having a similar problem. We also haven’t heard anything from OP in months. So if you’re new to this thread… please read other pages and above this post as there has been 99 responses as of me posting this.Operating System: Windows 11. Browser: Google Chrome.
