i want to download my scratch sprites to my computer how do i do that

That only downloads the costume you clicked. You have to right click on the sprite to export all costumes, and I think downloads the scripts too.

yes it downloads the script too, and downloading the sprite like that makes it impossible to view it without scratch, so you are better off downloading individual costumes after converting them in to bitmap. If you are planning on using the sprites on another scratch project, you can download the entire sprite without converting into bitmap mode, you just have to delete all the code.

You can do this for backdrops, sprites, and sounds as well.
