X and Y distance

Since the distance to Apple v block will always take the diagonal like on the image, but sometimes we need to get 2 separate values like on the photo.

You could also do this:

For y distance, use y position instead.

It should work in Scratch 3.0, you can also use the x position reporter in one of those.

Wait, where did you try using it, and maybe x position would work?
Will not. The road is scrolling and the car is always at x 0 y 0, and what I expect is this:
When I stay on the road, and someone goes, instead of the road scrolling, I would like it to move like in real life.
