Under every Scratch project, there's a button labelled “Copy Link.”

Upon clicking it, you are presented with this modal window:

This window provides a link to the project, as well as an HTML code snippet for embedding the project on another website.

The trouble is that the button itself gives no indication that embedding is supported.
In fact, I had no idea the option even existed until it was specifically pointed out on another thread.

I propose that the wording be changed to reflect the Embed feature. Perhaps “Link or Embed” would be clearer?

Support! There's no way to actually tell if the embed link is supported for a project. So making the button display “copy or embed” would make it clearer to scratchers who get confused.

then i deleted my account for personal reasons smh

It also was “Share to” because you were able to share it to Facebook/Twitter (yes, you were able to do this) and I guess share it to your website by embedding the project, but I'm guessing they removed it later so they renamed it Embed.
Anyway, I think they should add something like that back then (as in, mentioning Embeds are there).

But it might be confusing because of the fact that there is another button called Share, for sharing projects.

Maybe instead it could be “Copy Link or Embed” instead of just “Link or Embed”.

I did consider this, but I was worried that it might be a bit too long.



It seems okay looking at it now, but perhaps I'll let you guys be the judge of that.
