This will say Hello, (user)! when you log on to the website.

Support! This will welcome the user even more when logging into their Scratch account. Sure it’s a small change, but what will it hurt?

Small but fun addition. Maybe make it customizable for each user, too? Like “Howdy!” instead of “Hello”.

True. But specifically, this wouldn’t be for links. It would be an additional header to the front page when logged in.

They could do that as an option in account settings.

I don't think people would dig into account settings just so they can be greeted with a “Howdy”

I like this idea, making the site more welcoming and stuff like that.

I guess better than no banner like when you log out so I would give this a Support because it is better to welcome someone than not welcoming them when they log in.

No, but even on the homepage, it would feel eerie.

Um… it’s not in the nav bar? No offense. But I don’t think you saw the mock-up which shows that it’s underneath it.

That would be good to have! There also could be an option to turn the welcome Message off.
