I made a [sequel project](badwebsite.org)!
Maybe just only allow links to scratch?

Good idea, other links won't be allowed to be added, just like the bad words. The only problem is that it can lead to inappropriate/loud projects.

What if links were allowed, but clicking on them would first open a fancy custom-styled dialogue explaining to the user that the link would lead to an outside website and remind them to be careful (with buttons to open the link or cancel)? Links to within Scratch would just work like normal links without the popup.

And the Scratch Team could probably add a blacklist of sites they know are bad that simply can't be linked, as well as a catch-all for all sites that contain a certain keyword or domain extensions.

HUGE support!
I'd like to be able to format my project notes.

Also, before someone says I'm necroposting, necroposting doesn't exist in the Suggestions forum. [source]

Edit: this post was also meant to be a bump

This is very cool. Markdown is the simplest markup lang scratchers will be used with this and its actually pretty easy formatting. This will make people more creative with Description.

Support! I'm aware about stuff like aesthetic descriptions but this will only make descriptions more aesthetic.

Markdown is better and a good mini styling tool.

Semi-support :
  • being able to format text with Markdown would be really great
  • but it could be disturbing to see effects on your text that you don't know how to remove. Perhaps a little too complex?
Have a good day !
