uk: hard g and short i, or hard g and long i (like “eye”) (i've never heard anyone pronounce it like that, but that's what wiktionary says)

So /ˈɡɪɡ.ə/ is a bit like ”GIH-guh“, /ˈɡaɪ.ɡə/ is like ”GUY-guh“, and /ˈd͡ʒɪɡ.ə/ is like ”JIH-guh“. The apostrophe before the first syllable means the first syllable is stressed.
