What are the chances of a suggestion getting accepted?
The Scratch Team seeing it, thinking about it, accepting it and doing it. What are the chances of a suggestion getting accepted?
They usually require to moderate the Forums and the Website, so they don't have much time for it.
I'm 2 in math(Hungary uses numbers instead of letters) so I can't answer in a percentage.

What are the chances of a suggestion getting accepted?
Unless it’s one that is out of this world, there’s probably no chance it’d get accepted. Scratch Team does look through everything, but they only pick those that will promote inclusivity and the whole reason Scratch exists. I’d say about 80 to 90 percent of suggestions fail, perhaps more? What are the chances of a suggestion getting accepted?

In case you find it interesting, here's an essay explaining why suggestions are not often implemented: https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/User:Jvvg/Essays/Development_is_hard

What are the chances of a suggestion getting accepted?
https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/User:Jvvg/Essays/Development_is_hardTo apply this to any specific suggestion, it depends on a bunch of things, and this is by no means an exhaustive list. In case you find it interesting, here's an essay explaining why suggestions are not often implemented:
- Does it further Scratch's mission and align with their design goals?
- Will it be relatively easy to implement?
- Will this help a lot of users and not just a small number?
- Can it be abused, and if so can that abuse be mitigated?
- Will this require a lot of continuing work, either from the technical side or moderation site?
So, for a few examples:
- Adding dark mode: in the grand scheme of thing not super difficult to implement, will help a lot of users, can't really be abused, doesn't require much continuing work, and reduces eye strain, so they are working on that one (hopefully coming soon? no guarantees though)
- Adding custom blocks: difficult to implement, but majorly furthers Scratch's mission of teaching programming, helps a lot of users, can't really be abused, doesn't require much continuing work, so they were added
- Cloud lists: very difficult to implement, benefit is much less, can very heavily be abused and difficult to mitigate that abuse, and will require a lot of continuing technical and moderation work
- Private messaging: does not further Scratch's design goals, very easy to abuse and very hard to mitigate that abuse, would require a lot of continuing work for moderation

What are the chances of a suggestion getting accepted?
Depends on the suggestion as well. I remember suggesting a few topics that just involved fixing typos on the forums and they were fixed pretty quickly. But compared to a bigger update, that would change. So it really depends.

What are the chances of a suggestion getting accepted?
It depends on how sensible the suggestion is, how easy it is to implement, and a lot of other things.
