I need some help on getting my projects viral. I'm a New Scratcher

I've created two projects in my 24 hours of being in Scratch. I made them public, and the first one got 9 plays, which I was hyped about. My second project, I just shared to Scratch. I noticed that the projects on the Featured page have thousands of plays. How do you think I can improve my popularity on my projects? Thanks.:)

Start by seeing how long the owners of the featured projects have been on Scratch and how many shared projects they have. Then consider how many people use Scratch and how many new projects must be added every day.

The best way to get projects noticed is by being active. Favorite/like other people's projects and follow a few people. Also contribute on the forums - you may not be ready to help others here but there are other forums where you can be active.

Congratulations on creating your first projects on Scratch and getting plays on your first project! It's great to see your enthusiasm for coding. Here are some tips to improve the popularity of your Scratch projects:

1. Create engaging and unique projects: Try to come up with creative ideas and projects that stand out. Think about what kind of games or interactive experiences you would enjoy playing, and use that as inspiration for your projects. The more interesting and fun your projects are, the more likely they are to attract attention.

2. Pay attention to project presentation: Make sure your projects are visually appealing and have clear instructions or objectives. Use colorful graphics, animations, and sound effects to enhance the user experience. Spend time on creating an engaging thumbnail image for your project, as it is the first thing users will see.

3. Share your projects on social media: Promote your projects on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, or Reddit. Share a link to your project along with a catchy description or a short video demonstrating its features. Engage with the Scratch community by commenting on other projects and participating in discussions. This can help increase visibility and attract more players to your projects.

4. Collaborate with others: Team up with other Scratch users on projects or participate in collaborations. By working together, you can combine your skills and creativity, reach a wider audience, and potentially gain more plays. Collaboration can also be a great way to learn from others and improve your coding skills.

5. Participate in Scratch challenges and contests: Scratch regularly organizes challenges and contests on various themes. Participating in these events can help get your projects noticed by the Scratch community and increase their popularity. Even if you don't win, you'll gain exposure and potentially receive feedback from other Scratch users.

6. Give and receive feedback: Engage with the Scratch community by providing constructive feedback on other projects. This can help you build connections with other users and encourage them to check out your projects in return. Actively participating in the community can lead to increased visibility and popularity for your projects.

Remember that building popularity takes time and effort. Be patient, keep creating, and continue to improve your skills. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the process of coding and sharing your creations with others. Good luck with your Scratch projects!
