Hello, I noticed a strange glitch on Scratch today, on a project called Pong Starter made by natalie in the area where you typically see the share date it says unshared, even though the public can see it.
Lots of comments on the project have been made by other Scratchers who can see the project.
It's not a glitch with the specific project because the same project made by natalie was made by an account called Scratchteam
The remixed project shows the date, Feb 14, 2022
The remixed project also has a glitch as well, before comments to the project were turned off you can see there are comments from 7 years ago, how can that be since it says the project was only shared 1 year ago, was it reshared or something?
I've also noticed that a couple of other remixes say it is unshared as well, but some do say the actual date it was shared.

Might be a problem because of the fact it was made in the alpha/before the transferring.
Also, it got reshared. That project used to be in the 2.0 tips window, I remember, and you can see it here

The Scratchteam account was actually the 3rd account to remix it, why would it say it was released in 2022? Reshared? Shows comments from 7 years ago.

Pong Starter's API (https://api.scratch.mit.edu/projects/10000036) shows a shared date of null - most likely a bug with the 2.0 beta or alpha where share dates weren't set properly.

Some remixed projects that do show the date have the year 2013, so you're right the project was most likely created in 2013. I don't know how
I didn't realize this before considering the fact that Scratchers reshare their games all the time so they can get on trending, probably because the pong project got unshared for a long period of time that's how I noticed it.

So basically the date for the project's API is just a string of null characters? That's why it says it's unshared.

Hopefully, I understood that right, I'm not very good with that kind of stuff, but I think I understand it, I kinda know what an API is as well as null characters.

No, the value is null (not a string of null characters, and not the string “null”).

NOTE: The remix was definitely reshared because it was a starter project in Scratch 2.0 (you can find an older version of it as well as other projects when downloading the zip on the 2.0 download page) and also could be found in the Tips Window:



If I remember correctly, they also reshared the other projects in that folder at some point (Paint with Gobo is really easy to tell because it was on the 2.0 front page video, which was available since 2013)
