what? I didn't change the font.

No support.it’s too dark and kind of uninviting.it also wouldn’t match the rest of the website.

Looking at the Scratch 3.0 pages, the dark colors on this page look barren, versus being bright and cheerful like the rest of the site.

However, the gradients here are visually appealing and are executed very well — change my mind.

I'd like this as a theme. Maybe called “Galaxy” or something. But NOT a redesign.

The theme looks fine, although not good enough to replace the current one

No offense but that design looks kind of dated. The current scratch design looks a lot more modern in my opinion. Plus, there isn't really any reason to change it.

this'd actually go well with the new colour contrast theme—if we can get the ST to make the purple bar optional maybe it'd be ‘default’, ‘default-blue’, ‘galaxy’ (or ‘galaxy-light’), ‘galaxy-dark’?

By “the rest of the site” I think they mean the coding environment and friendly kids community, not the visual aesthetic. They're right too, I don't think that parents would want their kids on a site that looks like a video game piracy site from 2013.

Regardless, if the entire site got mad over a change in the color of the navbar, imagine how they'd react if the entire site theme changed. I don't think that it's a good idea to change the entire site theme unless it's really needed (like for accessibility reasons), especially if it has the potential to scare away new users.

That's what I'm sayin! Maybe with different looks for scratch logos as an easter egg. Such as one may be called “A Bit of Trolling”, and have the “Neigh” Logo instead of Scratch, and have somewhat-inverted colors. (Blue body, White Navbar, Black Text) Each one will of course have a “Dark” version.

I mean I thought I made the fact that the theme would be switchable back obvious.
