Squeak is a language, which means that reusing any 1.4 code in 3.0 (which is written in JavaScript) is impossible.cant they just steal code from 1.4 instead of rebuilding a dark mode and spending 6 months on it1.4 doesn't even use the same runtime. (or, is Squeak a framework? I forgot)

FYI, in the new code for high-contrast stuff, there is some code for Dark Mode, it just isn't exposed in the UI.

I think the ST would've announced something if they thought they were close.

Support! I like this idea cause it would be helpful but also I feel there should be a button where u can put on a mode where it's easier to see when ur computer is in the sun lite (tablets, phone etc.)
Take into consideration

…until you notice Scratch Cat and the block colours…
…and the sound editor, and the costume editor, the colours are inverted.

Semi-Support.
I would like to point out though, it seemed great at first, it may not contrast well with the darker blocks (e.g. looks, sound blocks). Of course, Scratch could change that, but many people (including myself) don't read the block sections, we just see via the colour. Overall, dark mode would be great though.

Semi-Support.Honestly, my brain goes like the categories here if they're not the same colors so I can't really relate but yea:
