I understand your opinion, but to be honest, I was just glad for a plot other than the overused Bowser-kidnaps-Peach,-Mario-saves-Peach plot. And I think Chris Pratt did a good job of a Brooklyn accent. I do agree it was fast past, however, and maybe they could've just made it a bit longer.

I agree! like that it was different! However, I do think they had an opportunity to put Daisy and Rosalina in there… Maybe if there's a sequel, they'll appear?

Rosalina might fit well in a sequel, (opinion biased due to maining Rosalina in SM3DW) but I haven't picked up on enough canon information about Daisy to consider her a good pick for a character in the sequel. Because she's lesser known than Peach, she'd either have to be a minor character (uneducated viewers don't feel too left out, educated viewers recognize her) or the movie would have to spend some time introducing her (educated & uneducated viewers get value from it). If you pay attention to the fact that the main characters are characters easily recognized throughout the fandom, you'll see where I'm coming from.

In the scene where Bowser says "Koopas! Goombas! And . . . whatever those things are.“, I will shout ”SPINIES!" every time I see said scene, regardless of whether or not the party I'm in is the only one in the cinema.

Oh, and here's something Wikipedia said about home media releases.

. . . in all seriousness, I want to see the sequel to focus on Mario's transition from a plumber to a freelance explorer. Maybe the events of the sequel will play out in a plot akin to SMW, and The One True Yoshi would fit into the storyline perfectly.

(begin) I haven't seen the whole thing yet, from what I've heard it was pretty good. I think most people (actual Mario fans included) were expecting an Oscar-worthy social commentary about the meaning of life from freakin' Illumination (end)
