I sometimes can't get emoji's so that could be useful, I guess. Although you could use other things, likewise XD or even as simple as : ). Not sure if this is relevant but this? LOL.

It can be used to say the short name for experience (XP)
If this was added then some phrases will be broken
For example:

Windows XP
Will become
Windows

And because how djangobb works
that mean some text will become broken
For example:

experience
turns into
eerience

No support for the same reason. Many words have xp in it and this would break text then they will be forced to be using the boxes to make that not happen.
