Remove stats for number of followers, loves, faves, and views
Ok, so this suggestion might be a little weird, but I am suggesting removing stats for number of followers, loves, faves, and views because scratch is about programming, not fame. After all, Scratch is supposed to be about programming, not fame. Like, if someone makes projects to the best of their ability, but is not popular, they may have the impression that nobody likes their projects, and they might quit. So that's why I think that Scratch should not have stats for # of followers, etc.

No support.
Scratch isn’t about fame. That’s the golden rule we all know. You make projects for people to enjoy, you spend you hard time to see something good come our from your work. The # of followers etc. are for people who want a bit more than just programming.

Well, Scratch is also about “sharing” your projects, in which these particular statistics exist. If we remove these counters for social interactions, it would ruin the aspect of this philosophy.

This has been suggested before, but I don't know what happened to it. Why though? If someone takes fame hunger to far, then report what they did. Even though fame isn't the most important aspect of Scratch, it still can motivate users, and it is very nice for someone to find out when someone enjoys their project. With your reasoning, we should also remove loves, and the “favorites” bar from each profile. And even get rid of remixes! You can still count how many there are, so let's just remove them!

I think the main reason why they exist is so that it shows how much support they get and it can bring confidence to the user. But either way there is actually something that Zacharry said that was going to be implemented but did not.
You know how if a studio has more than 100 comments, then the “Comments” button on the studio says that there are “100+ comments”? Scratch 3.0 was initially going to do this same thing, but for project views — so, if your project had more than 100 views, then it would appear to have “100+ views.”

No support because this destroys every aspect of sharing.

Support if it's optional. Some platforms have a similar feature where you can hide your account statistics (like GitHub), which is nice for those who just use those platforms for non-social aspects

I don’t support. The number is just to show how many people have fun with your projects

If it's optional, support. Some people may not want to see these numbers.
If it isn't optional, full no support. The amount of people that don't wanna see those numbers is a lot less than those that do.

I'd like to know your sources, if you have any. Nobody is forced to follow someone, that's literally impossible on Scratch. Followers aren't forced to play their projects anyway. F4F doesn't affect how many loves the game gets. The creator would want to get feedback, and people just dropping by might want to know how many people enjoyed that project too.I don’t support. No support, it's just a number. If you don't like seeing it simply ignore it.

“Flexing” is already a reportable offense; it falls in the same category as harassment.
-seing how much f4f have been done
It's extremely vague whether or not people are following each other for the sole purpose of doing “follow for follow.” The definitive answer of why two people are following each other is ambiguous.
Also, the “following” and “followers” amount alone won't confirm how much “follow for follow” a person has done anyway.
-how much ppl got forced to follow
How would anybody be able to confirm that such a person was “forced” to follow another individual, especially by means of single-handedly using a simple “follower” counter.
and who would want to see how many ppl anjoyed their projects?
The creators of projects may use their statistics for motivation and what-not, I know I do.
Also, using such statistics for motivation isn't gluttonous in any manner.
