;. STARCLAN - in terms of worshipping

being raised to not believe in the starry skies thoughts and dreams, ditz already has no willingness to follow their guidance. but even before that, as a kittypet, they didn’t even know starclan existed - for some cats, at least.

they knew they were destined to be apart of the clans, but ditz wish that sea-snake and riu had found them sooner. from what ditz has been told, it has caused them to believe that starclan somehow deliberately delayed the meeting between the kits and the lovebirds.

;. STARCLAN - in terms of leaving this world

ditz sees starclan as a prison, taking cats against their will to join their ranks. they hope and wish they never lose any cats to the stars up above, especially not their adoptive parents and their beloved siblings.

assuming riu will tell the kits about the cats xey have lost to the gates in the sky, ditz will only have less of a connection to starclan. more will be explained on how ditz will grieve for missing cats in the next part- goodbyes.

;. GOODBYES - in terms of dying

when a close cat is dying, ditz heart will pour on the ground, leaving nothing but ashes in the remain. they believe that when a cat dies, it is merely time to say goodbye, a goodbye where there will never be a hello again.

like any normal cat, ditz will feel depressed. when it’s their family’s time to say goodbye, ditz may even blame themselves for their loss. but oh well, life must go on, and ditz must realise that eventually.

;. GOODBYES - in terms of seeing once more

starclan may watch, but ditz will never look back. after all, they don’t believe in the mysterious clan. not even from the tales of riu, but from their own beliefs. ditz instead believes in things like small, visible signs, like feathers or butterflies or strong senses of energy.

they aren’t a very spiritual cat, but ditz cannot deny that there are at least a few paranormal signs to be seen from the dead among the cats of the vast plains.

;. FAMILIAL - in terms of bonds

family is everything, and everything is the core of life. ditz strongly believe that familial bonds can truly help make your life complete, therefore having family as a top priority. but there are only few cats that ditz will consider family.

cousins, aunts, uncles, both on rius and sea-snakes side, they are not family. even if they’ve met, ditz will only consider them family once a deep bond has been formed.

riu is seen more as family than sea-snake, as not just xem being the one took ditz in, but ditz feeling a special connection towards xem. sea-snake will still be seen as a parent, and although ditz will enjoy the time they spend together, it just won’t be the same.

ditz best friend is their littermate, no matter what happens. they will stay by their side, and always be their for them. they’ve shared so much trauma that ditz feels an extremely strong bond towards them. although it won’t be the same as sea-lion, ditz will still sea sea-lion as their older sibling.

ditz thoughts on friendships will surely be mixed as she grows up.

through their earlier kithood, they will stay aloof and wary, not wanting to bond with strangers. although they hardly remember it, they were aware of how bad the twolegs treated them, and how lost and lonely they felt when artemis had died.

through the later half of their kithood, ditz will get less and less suspicious of cats around them, and start to make friends. they will most likely start with the mornings litter, as they would have most likely talked before due to growing up together. they will stick with these friendships going into apprenticehood.

throughout their apprenticehood, ditz will want to form a bond with their mentor. of course, this depends who it is, but ditz will at least try to make an effort to be friendly towards them.

this isn’t just icing and sugar, though, because ditz just won’t grow on them immediately. it will take a while for them to fully trust to their mentor.

on the friendship side of things, ditz will try to meet more cats. they will be relying on spider-lily, their friends they made as kits, riu, and maybe even their mentor to help them form more bonds.

now, onto warriorhood! by the time ditz gets their full name, most of their friendships will be fully fleshed out. they will most likely have a few or more close friends with quite a few mutuals that they met as an apprentice. although, they will prefer to stay with close friends and spider-lily.

diz will try and form a better bond with their mentor, as they are now on the same level! if everything goes well, then ditz will feel comfortable hunting and patrolling alongside their mentor.

ditz won’t really be looking for a mate, or kits. their life is already fine, and they don’t want to rush it! if they do end up finding love, it will probably take a while as they prefer to take things at a slower pace.

;. FRIENDSHIPS - in terms of strength

ditz truly does believe that having friends is a good thing! just not too many. ditz is the type of cat to like interacting with their close friends and family, but will also need to have a break and recharge over time.

it may be hard to believe, but ditz does love their close friends just as they love their family. their close friends will most likely be the cats they grew up with, so they will treat them with kindness and affection, and they will feel completely at ease when with them. they will be similar to cousins for ditz.

of course, ditz will try and hold a strong bond with less close friends, they just won’t be as open with them. talking to them regularly, sharing prey with them, hunting with them occasionally, will be a few things ditz will want to do with their normal friends.

ditz believes that having a better bond with your mentor will give you a better learning experience. due to being declawed and having trauma/slight trust issues, their mentor will have to learn to find their way around that to give the best possible outcome for ditz.

preferences, opinions, dislikes, likes, whatever you like to call them, all make up a certain part of detailed information for a character, which is why it is very important. it is included in a small part of character that makes a big impact.

ditz looks like they have bland taste on the surface, but deeper in and you will find that they have a complicated and opinionated mind.

what type of prey do they desire most?
ditz’s favourite prey will be lizards and/or kangaroo rats, but they won’t mind any other rodents or other animals either. they aren’t very picky.

what colour is the most pleasing to ditz?
they really like the sandy colours of the desert, and although they haven’t seen it, from stories the colour of the stormy ocean is quite interesting to them. but truly, they prefer any type of brown, because it reminds them of their siblings.

what does ditz truly wish for?
they want to see the sea! they love the stories of the time the clan cats crossed the ocean, and would love to see it for themself.

a close second is just to have a happy life with their family and friends, devoid of any danger. although, fate will just have to decide what happens.

what does ditz find pleasure in?
they really like the night sky, but shh, it’s a secret! they don’t want sicariushug knowing, since xey don’t like the stars..

in spring, ditz will gaze at the thunderclan forests in awe, because they find the bright flowers that sprout there incredibly pretty. ditz might even gather some for themself and decorate them on their fur!

ditz finds cave patterns and crystals very interesting, which, paired with their agileness, would make them a very good tunneller. they would also like to become a tunneller due to their missing leg, which they find hard to hunt with.

in terms of eye candy…
although ditz sexuality is not confirmed, ditz finds cats taller then them, a bit flirty, mischievous and sort of the opposite of them extremely attractive. and, on ditz side- well, they’re just a flustered mess!
