Description: "This parallelogram was once very vile and rude, but since the time it found out what Light Blue and Tan did to Byzantine and a few others, it's changed a lot. As of now, it's just chilling near the giant pit."

About This Cube
Magenta is shown to be a very remorseful and misunderstood cube that has a lot of mental problems.
Back in the day, it was a very mean cube to Persimmon, and sometimes others too.
It wasn't always mean at first. That is all to blame on Tan.

Animation
This cube blinks as usual.
Prior to June 6, 2022, it had an angry expression, and occasionally sighed to itself, regretting it's insults.

Trivia
Magenta has a backstory with Tan, which is how Phlox befriended it.
This cube also has the most lore out of any other cube in the game.
It is the main protagonist of the animation "Cube Creator: Light Blue's Plight".
This is the first cube, and the only cube, to have a prop that makes music, that being the Tape Player.
Although the tape player it has isn't playing anything anymore, you can still access the playing version by tampering with the code.
The indigo tape plays a sped up version of “Intercom”. The source is here.
The music the other tape plays is currently unknown.
This cube is the reason why Persimmon's on top of Mt. Mountain.
Violet was the cube that gave Magenta the tape player.
Tan ruined Magenta's reputation for a long time.
This cube is friends with Cocoa, though only slightly.

Lore
When The God Box created Magenta, it was very unsure of it's surroundings, as it wasn't familiar with the world yet.
Until Tan came.
It was pretending to be a good friend, which could help with befriending other cubes, or so it seemed.
Deep down, Tan was a notorious troublemaker, and that's where things start to go wrong.
So as a result, Magenta then became a very rude and vile parallelogram that no-one really liked. It also began to make fun of others, especially Persimmon.
Which is why Persimmon's still hiding atop Mt. Mountain today.
Nothing seemed well for the future of Magenta, and it was all because of Tan. But something was about to happen…
Violet, after attempting to help Rainbow again, noticed all the commotion about Magenta and decided to help by giving it a Tape Player.
It helped Magenta all right, but it still got regularly haunted by it's insults from the past.
Magenta was actually not liked much among the others yet, but was about to once and for all, discover the true extent of Tan's evil nature.
It noticed in the distance a few days prior to the giant pit's creation the terrifying sight of Tan teaming up with Light Blue to cause havoc on the Cuboid Isles. Light Blue, as you may already know, was very keen on world domination and was not going to let this opportunity slide by.
So, Tan stole Amethyst's Single-Use Missile Launcher and made it a TNT Launcher instead as the missile had already been used.
Magenta noticed Tan setting up the TNT Launcher beforehand, so was frantically trying to avoid any situations.
Unfortunately, it was too late. The TNT landed, and Byzantine was trapped.
Transparent, White, Peach and Cyan were also there at the time, so they let the others know how Magenta was trying to save them.
And, finally, Magenta made a friend, Phlox.
Phlox was good with social experiences and backstories, and has been helping Magenta for a while. They're also near the pit because they're wondering if anyone's trying to get out so they can lend a hand.
So far, nobody's gotten out yet, but as mentioned in Xanadu's description, cubes don't go hungry, so that's fortunate. Skobeloff has the most experience so far, so it's the one attempting to make an escape route for everyone down there with it.

I don't have the old angry expression anymore, sorry. I removed it prior to starting the Wiki.
