Project comments across Scratch are turned off... Why?

“Project comments across Scratch are turned off, but don't worry, your comments are saved and will be back soon.” This message popped up in the messages area please explain why.

I believe maintenance, but we don’t know when it’s going back up.

comments are off for me to and i really want them back on cuz i'm working on a map and i need comments for it i hope them come back on cuz if they don't all my hard work will be for nothing

Yeah, it is maintenance. Paddle2See, a Scratch Team member (he has been one for years), stated that project comments had issues on another topic.
