Backpack Bug
My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 14541.0.0, Chrome 111.0.0.0, No Flash version detected
Let me explain what is exactly
Apparently it's the absolute opposite of the backpack bug glitch when you put it in, but everything is working fine, UNLESS you want to take out a sprite in your backpack and put it in your project. I noticed this in my backpack while I was making an anime character. I tried getting other sprites, It doesn't work, Then I decided to pull a costume. It worked. I even tried getting out the project.
Fix this.
Also maybe that's why there is lag here aaaaa
It's also just sprites- ;-;

I've been encountering this issue too. They oughta do something about it pretty darn soon.

Yeah, Scratch is currently having issues with getting sprites outside of the backpack. I can replicate, but it only happens with sprites.I tried this sprite and 2 other ones:

Edit: Try using the upload button for sprites if you can, basically just export the sprite by right clicking and clicking “export/save to local file” (FINE) and then upload it to Scratch.
Edit 2:
Do you have a browser extension for Scratch? If so, disable the setting that makes the project load faster because it causes the issue since the people creating and checking the setting didn't realize that it blocks sprites from being added from the backpack since it blocks requests from backpack.scratch.mit.edu, which is used for storing backpacked sprites. Wait until this issue has been fixed before enabling it again.

This may actually be caused by one of the browser extensions you might be using. I'm not going to get into too much detail because I don't want to encourage exploring the world of browser extensions, but try disabling one of the new features in that extension (or disabling the extension entirely) and see if it fixes the problem.
