Whew, what a crazy couple of days it has been! Huge thanks to everyone for all the kind comments, suggestions, and posted songs. I got over 500 hundred messages today!! Special thanks to the anonymous person who featured my project.
I had moved on from this project as it was dead in the water, until it hit the front page. I added the Record and Playback features and a few people started posting songs as letters, numbers, and spaces. So I added Import and Export and started testing more stuff.
I am now, and have been working non-stop on the next update. In case you haven't been reading the Project Notes, here are some features I am adding…

- full 88 note range of a real piano
- ability to transpose both the top and bottom rows of keyboard keys independently among those 88 notes
- new .wav sampled piano that sounds gorgeous
- notes no longer repeat if you hold keys down
- keys work like piano keys, when you release a key, that note stops playing (or you can use sustain mode) (works for both midi and .wav modes)
you can preview these two features in this test project I made - Only two notes but they are the new piano tones, use spacebar and B
- usage of all keyboard letters and number keys
- 3 song save locations, maybe more
- naming of songs
- improved export data - (to include project version, link to Loco Synth project, song title, username of whoever recorded it, etc)
- at least one more voice, up from 6 to 7 (polyphony aka “how many notes you can play at the same time”)

and maybe more stuff I forgot. I dunno, I'm pretty zombified at the moment. Sleep is for the weak!!! Lol, just kidding.
I'm really looking forward to listening to everyone's songs! Gonna try to listen to some in a few, once everyone else has gone to bed here.

One thing I like to do is just type some random sentence and see what it sounds like. The cool part is that no matter how crazy it sounds, you can play it again immediately and perfectly. Sounds freaky to someone who is listening but doesn't know what you are doing.Tell them you are composing music for robots.
