For creeperyeettt I can kind of get it. You're clearly really young. The one and only point you were trying to debunk was worded weirdly and was really awkward, but you still could've acknowledged the main points at the very least.

As for RAiNKiTT3N, I honestly have no idea how you managed to get “there are no icon makers on scratch” from a post about the problems with relying on the icon makers that users made on scratch for official features. Did you just not read the post at all? It literally starts by acknowledging these projects lmao.

“There's a workaround” isn't a valid argument to reject suggestions. Especially if the workaround involves lots of work or user/third party resources. Scratch team doesn't want to rely on other sources for features, as they're concerned about them being unsafe.

That's true, but it also loses the added benefit of being very accessible to new scratchers, who probably won't find those projects. I guess that's made up for by the default spirtes though.

I also want to say quickly that I don't support this suggestion. The problem with this is that it only has prebuilt options and a set art style, so it wouldn't represent the scratcher as much. Plus, there isn't really any reason to do this. Premade OCs don't help with learning to code, draw, animate, or anything else people could learn from scratch. All it is doing is making scratch require less creativity when designing OCs. There's a reason scratch doesn't add things that scratch teaches you how to do yourself after all.

New argument why I don’t support: this characters wouldn’t be original, as there would be a limited number of them in a limited number of styles and it would be easy for two people to have the same character, making it not original.

My gosh, just draw the OC and use reshape to smooth it out! I feel like this is so simple, but people are ignoring the easy solution. Look at my pic. Drawn with the paint tool. Now you see?

No support. This would take a lot of money out of MIT’s foundational bank account and would cause them to lose money. This would also require a LOT of work as well to implement something like this.

I personally agree. I have been working so hard with the tools to make an OC but they look so bad. And also can we have it so when you copy and paste something from your project can it stay copy and pasted so if you want to add a character you created in one project to another without having to find the right colors size of shapes and all that?
