Custom avatars are not in the need because scratch is for coding, not to make the coolest avatar
Just use a 3d software and take a picture and use it as your pfp

I don't see the importance here, why? It's not like we can just draw and model our own via art applications. I don't see why it has to be Scratch-affiliated to be good for use, as the final product would be a near carbon copy as what any other application that does this.
Just because something sounds “cool” doesn't necessarily mean the final product will have a bunch of downsides to it. Nonetheless, they are just stating that the workaround of just downloading an image of something you created via Blender or other art tools is extremely viable, versus a profile creator that consists of virtually no educational value.
