hi I am new 2 scratch and don't know how to do a animation

how to make an animation
There are two ways to do this.
1. The old fashioned way
Draw one costume, then duplicate it.
In the second costume, move something a bit (if you want to make the hand of a cat wave, move up the hand a little bit_
Duplicate that, then edit the third costume.
Repeat, then put in this script:
2. Using motion
This choppy, hardly animated technique is one I like to use.
Draw your sprite.
If you want him to move, use motion blocks like:
