Make the default website font Comic Sans
I… don't know what to say. Maybe a different dyslexia friendly font (think open dyslexic) that doesn't have a reputation for being misused and/or ugly could be an option?
Semi-support, I guess? The majority of my sentences here end in a question mark despite not needing one whatsoever.
Does anybody else feel like this suggestion is at least a little sarcastic, or is it just me?

Why is this still a topic? Most browsers removed default support for Comic Sans, so Scratch now has to use a .ttf file of the font to apply it. Changing the website font is also a pretty useless addition (except for dyslexic fonts ofc) and literally no site in existence lets you change the font.
No support. I would disapprove even in 2016.

Make the default website font Comic Sans
I know that Comic Sans MS is a more readable font for people with dyslexia than other fonts, but it doesn't feel “natural” to make the default website font “Comic Sans MS”. I changed the front page's font to Comic Sans MS (while signed out), and here's what it looks like:
Now, it might look okay for the main website, but let's see what the forums look like…
Upon changing the font of the page to Comic Sans MS, my eyes hurt. To me, the text looks too big, and it looks less readable. I already like the fonts that Scratch uses for its pages, so why should it be changed? Changing the font would make Scratch less like Scratch.

Absolutely flipping not! This would make the website sooo ugly.
Though an option to toggle this would be a different story…

It doesn't mean I liked the idea… and somebody was bound to bump the topic anyway saying “comic sans good”

Maybe if there was a setting to change the font in different places, and the default font would be the same as now, then yeah.

While I'm not going to get involved on the debate on the usage of the font, I'm here just to remind you all that not all of us use Windows as their OS and therefore may not have Comic Sans installed. Hosting it yourself may not be a good idea either, since Comic Sans may not be allowed to be freely distributed (I haven't checked, but better be safe than sorry).
However, Comic Sans-like fonts do exist, such as Comic Neue, and it's best for Scratch to use that instead (if they wanted to).

No support, I don't really see if the website font is really important and scratch isn't only for kids but all ages like others said, and also comic sans is really hated so that will maybe cause scratch to be more hated, making it also look unprofessional and childish like others said. I don't really think a font is boring or interesting but it's probably not so important.
Also I searched about comic sans and there are already millions of articles that say like it's hated, they want to kill comic sans etc… absolutely I don't agree with this to change the font to comic sans, it would make scratch hated maybe and make it look ugly.
Maybe changing the font via settings yea but I find it unecessary, I prefer a normal font like Arial.

There's the fact that it looks childish, and there's also the fact that Comic Sans was the font used back in Scratch 0.x, and bringing it back would make it look just… a whole lot older.

No support?
And now for real, Comic Sans would suck as the default font, that even pixel would be better as the font.

Eh, semi support. Maybe have an option to change the font if desired? I'm good with this one.

The default font will be Comic Sans if and only if:On the sign-up screen, if the birthdate is under 16, it will say: “Set the default font to Comic Sans?”
- The visitor has an account.
The user is under 16 and has chosen to set to Comic Sans.
If you say yes, the font will be changed to Comic Sans, or else, to Open Sans.
This can be changed in your Account settings.
No support for under 16 only able to access Comic Sans, I myself like Comic Sans and I'm 16. Therefore, I couldn't see myself being happy with that decision.

Support if it's optional and the toggle is tucked so deep inside account settings that I wouldn't bother looking for it
Oh and also if it isn't Comic Sans of course
