what does “backup:erreur” mean, and why do none of the codes here have have the “airjump” tag set, but you can normally still airjump in most of the stages here?

Because “airjump” was added in my remix. The “airjump” tag is set for all the levels in this forum for compatibility. When I added the spin jump, you were able to use it in the air, meaning, “airjump”. I removed it, but also added a tag to re-enable it, which is why the “airjump” tag exists.

I'm not sure where “backup:erreur” is, so I don't know what to say about that.

edit: I thought this was on the original project forum.

The reason “airjump” isn't set for a bunch of levels, is because that's the default. When I added spin jump, you could use it in the air. I fixed that issue, but to keep compatability, I added the option to turn the old behavior on, meaning, “airjump”. It is set when the tag doesn't exist, but when you create a new level, the default is off.

bug: if you take damage with a fireflower you will normally go to small mario instead of going to big mario, but i have before gotten from fireflower to big somehow - v7.0.0 beta

That's not a bug at all, the intended behavior is to go from fireflower > big > small. That's actually how it is in super mario maker. The only mario game (in the us) that goes from fireflower to small, is super mario bros on the nes.

Not if you make it go to a specific level, which I'll admit, was not done in a very good way.

I'm also not working on it anymore, which is why I made the v7.0.0 beta public. If you want to continue it, go ahead, keep in mind it can only load in turbowarp (from my experience).

Actually, I think I know what is happening. I was wrong about super mario world going from fireflower > big > small, it actually goes from fireflower > small, but drops whatever powerup is in reserve. I added that reserve thing in v7.0.0, but also made it so that if you have it enabled in the level, it goes from fireflower > small. You can disable it in a level in the editor by clicking on the gear at the top left.

it was in the same level, if i touched a spike it would go from flower to small, but if i touched a saw i would go from fire to big to small.

That's not a bug at all, the intended behavior is to go from fireflower > big > small. That's actually how it is in super mario maker. The only mario game (in the us) that goes from fireflower to small, is super mario bros on the nes.
i mean it only does it sometimes, not allways, so therefore, one way would be a bug, and as far as i can remember, it didn't work like that in a previous version of i played of this.
Actually, I think I know what is happening. I was wrong about super mario world going from fireflower > big > small, it actually goes from fireflower > small, but drops whatever powerup is in reserve. I added that reserve thing in v7.0.0, but also made it so that if you have it enabled in the level, it goes from fireflower > small. You can disable it in a level in the editor by clicking on the gear at the top left.
it was in the same level, if i touched a spike it would go from flower to small, but if i touched a saw i would go from fire to big to small.
I just checked, and I see what you mean now. I probably just forgot to have the check in the block sprite as well as the entity sprite.
