I have a question, how are views counted on a project?

I mean, are they counted for each unique person who views it, or every time someone clicks the green flag?

no its everytime the green flag is clicked

It's both every unique account and when the flag is clicked.

Every time someone clicks the flag for the first time. So if you press the green flag loads of times, the view count won't increase that many times, it will only increase once.

Proof? Unless you're known to be a reliable source or have a reliable source that a statement is true, don't just say it's true, as it could be false.

You can easily test it by pressing the green flag on a project loads of times.
