Introducing the Custom Scratch Font Tool: Use New and Unique Fonts for Your Scratch Projects
Hello Everyone!
I'm excited to announce the beta release of my new tool, the Custom Scratch Font Tool! As many of you know, Scratch's costume editor has a limited selection of fonts to choose from, leading Scratchers asking for more fonts. While there are workarounds like using Google Drawings or font engines, they aren't editable like the normal Scratch text.
Using CSS font-families, this tool creates SVGs that allow you to easily change and edit fonts within Scratch's costume editor. Whether you're looking for a more professional look for your project or just want to add some extra flair, the Custom Scratch Font Tool is a great solution.
Here's an updated link to the tool: Custom Scratch Font Tool
⚠️Important! Since the project is still in beta the link may change so make sure to save this post for the updated link⚠️
How To Use:
Please note that Scratch reduces gif quality for some reason, so apologies for the bad quality
To use the tool, simply select the font you want to use from the dropdown menu and customize it to your liking. You can change the font and text to make it fit your project exactly how you want. Once you're done, download the SVG and upload it into Scratch's costume editor and you're good to go!
I also included a “Copy Svg Path” button for those who don't want to download a file directly from an unknown website website (understandably). You can use a tool you trust more like svgviewer.dev to paste the path then download the svg.
I hope this tool will be helpful to all of you and make your Scratch projects even more creative and fun. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to let me know. Happy coding!

The link has been changed. I kept the old link and had it redirect to the new one, but just wanted to update everyone. The new link is here: https://meeeeeeeep1.github.io/haven.scratch-tools/customScratchFont/

Really cool! I have one question: do the viewers of the project have to have the font installed for it to look correct? I would assume they would since it's an SVG, though I'm not entirely sure.

I won't compete for the best tool for Scratch because i write simple JS, but this is off the desk!
However, good tool,
but you don't need much CSS though,
you can use simplicity like i did here.
anyways you can use a web framework but you can use HTML though.
thanks.

Problem: Not everyone has these fonts installed. On my phone, for example, I don't have Comic Sans.

relatable, but somtimes it needs a UI if users are just getting annoyed of on the top-left corner describing the whole page.I won't compete for the best tool for Scratch because i write simple JS, but this is off the desk!I think the site looks great since it uses a matching Scratch aesthetic.
