Keep the april fools directory as an archive

once april fools is over it would be cool if the forum just got unlisted instead of going private fully
Also, by unlisted, I mean having it not show up on the main forums page and users cannot reply to or create new topics, but could still view all topics, as an archive

I feel like unlisting them is a better idea though.

Did you even read my post? You just made literally the same suggestion and then said that yours is “a better idea”

I saw that forum when it was closed but I could still make posts. Though not long after, it got dustbinned.
Anyway, is this currently possible?
Also, I am really getting messed up with them removing it. I keep accidentally trying to go to BaG/QaS/Suggestions but going to QaS/Suggestions/BaG.

Well, they hid it from the main page, so might never know until next year.

I found out that you can see it when you are not logged into your scratch account.

Oh, that's likely because it hasn't updated yet. But it doesn't have all the posts and topics yet because the actual forum had more than 1000 topics at the end of this. And some of the links seem to be resulting in access denied.

But page 7 is dustbinned for some reason (even when signed out)

That is because page 7 was not cached

I think we should keep that glitch in order to see our awesome posts there. Anyways now with that said I think I can be able to archive my topics that I have made.

This'd be nice, I'd like to see other jokes people made.

I'm not sure they would be doing it again due to this post

Sorry that it wasn't optimal for everybody. The choices were to either forbid April Fool's Day posts in the forums, which didn't see like much fun, or try to minimize moderator work by grouping all the AFD activity in one forum. We elected to go with that choice. However, next year we'll no doubt revisit the situation and see where we are. Thanks for all the feedback.

That post has nothing to do with this, you wouldn't be able to post or create topics or anything, like the Scratch 1.x Forums archives, read-only
