I think the original poster added that so they could easily edit the post without having to search for the button because it links to the edit page for the original post.

It makes it clear that you make the topic in the Questions about Scratch forum and not in a different forum. Even though you can argue that obviously you make a post in QaS, there are some instances where people post their questions in a different forum.

Makes sense, but it doesn’t look very good. Perhaps the banner could be a link?

I also just don’t like how the owner of this sticky hasn’t maintained it for a long time. It’s fine for most stickies, but not for a directory — especially since it has a category for more recent issues.

OK, in all seriousness this is starting to get a bit ridiculous.

There are several typos, things to remove from (and add to) the Temporary Questions section, grammatical errors, and overall cringy word choices I made that I think should really be changed. I’ve listed a few before. But you don’t seem to be checking the sticky at all. The last edit was in early January. It is early May now. I do not believe you seem to have an interest in the responsibility of taking care of the sticky, just the fact that you have one.

I don’t want to sound rude, but I gave you back your sticky because you acted as the victim and begged. But you haven’t really done much with it since then, except updating everything in the topic that said that it was owned by me, @Sliverus. But that is not how sticky ownership should really work, to be quite honest. Only reliable and active people should take care of stickies. But on here, when people mention potential edits to the sticky, they are ignored. And I know that you still use Scratch, to some extent anyway.

I would like to suggest a potential idea to fix it: Let me handle the sticky again, and I will continue to edify the topic to its fullest extent. And if you have an idea to fix the topic, please let me know, and I can do so.

I do not want to sound rude. I am sincerely trying my best to sound neutral. But this is not a neutral issue. You either want the topic to remain as it always has been and always will be, sitting to rot forever, or you have me (or someone else) renew the sticky. Or you can take care of the sticky yourself. But I don’t believe that one of the most useful stickies related to QAS should sit and waste away.
