Scratch Version Detector
New project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/804179682/
This project detects what Scratch version you're using as long as it is 1.0 or later (also includes Phosphorus). It will also detect the range of what Scratch 2.0 version you are using.
Result template:
Clarification message for 3.0:
This project detects what Scratch version you're using as long as it is 1.0 or later (also includes Phosphorus). It will also detect the range of what Scratch 2.0 version you are using.
Result template:
Editor type: Offline/OnlinePrevious versions:
Detection: Phosphorus/2.0 (v432 or earlier)/2.0 (after v432)/2.0/1.3/1.3.1/1.4 (note this is a joke, it includes forkphorus, turbowarp, and 3.0)
Version I used: Phosphorus/2.0 (v432 or earlier)/2.0 (after v432)/2.0/1.3/1.3.1/1.4 (note this is a joke, it includes forkphorus, turbowarp, and 3.0)
Type of code you used: v1.0/v2.0/v3.0
v2.0: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/787485825/If you have any questions about this project, ask below. You can tell your results and feedback that you have. You can post bugs with the detectors here.
v1.0: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/786857218/
Clarification message for 3.0:
Anyway, bringing this topic up. Also, something I want to clarify: I don't think there's a way to tell between different 3.0 versions. 3.0 generally refers to all versions of 3.0, including the latest. For 2.0 v432 and earlier, you can do it because the distance to () block reports 0 while all other versions of Scratch and 2.0 report 10,000. However, for Scratch 3.0, there doesn't seem to be anything like this that I'm aware of.

Okay, I’m working on one where the code hopefully works with all versions but I’m not sure.

Nice!I uploaded the project to different versions (1.0, 2.0 v376, 2.0 v459.1 I believe, and for 3.0 of the project) and took screenshots, and then uploaded them to the project.
How did you get the screen shots?
Also you can make a signature (you can set it at the bottom of the discussion homepage) and link the topic in there.

It works perfectly in every version! It even somehow worked in 1.1! But it would refuse to load in 1.0…

You can upload costumes/sprites to a project by single clicking the icon allowing you to add one and the icon on the top of the options that show is the uploading one.
It works perfectly in every version! It even somehow worked in 1.1! But it would refuse to load in 1.0…Weird, what did it say? Did it say “Bad header” or something? I loaded it to 1.0 fine and uploaded the project from Scratch 1.0.

Alright, I have updated the download links on the projects due to:

Source
Note: This tool will still work if the project hasn't been modified in Scratch 3.0, and you can also convert “.sb3”s to “.sb2” and “.sb2” to “.sb”.
