Sound Gone

My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 14541.0.0, Chrome 110.0.0.0, No Flash versions detected
I've noticed that some projects of mine that have music, the music has gone silent when I open the project the next day. I do have a "(removed by moderator - please don't name browser extensions), but i've noticed before this glitch, I had this extension, and it didn't happen. Please help…

music over 10 mb in wav or mp3 might fail based on how large it is.

I'm having the same problem. Glad that it's not just me, lol.

Pretty weird. Hopefully ST comes forward to address and fix this.

That's odd. I did the same thing with a large sound file and I got a “project cannot save” instead of it becoming silent.

Yeah, I've seen people mention this in places like here or Help with Scripts.

It must have been 10MB (or larger) already. Also, was it .mp3 or .wav?

No, the project would not save with the sound if it's data was over 10MB. It seems to be a random issue. Hopefully, Scratch Team will come forward and discusses this issue, because I've also seen it happen on my projects.

It was a .wav.
