It does not necessarily mean they are spoiled. Sure, maybe they might have more money then so and so, but no, it does not mean they are spoiled.

okay, I'm going to put this straight. My mum and dad bought me an iPad for my birthday two years ago. Since then we have moved to a farm. And trust me, living on a farm is not easy work. I look after my I've chickens feed the cows, wash the dishes, pack the dishwasher, unpack the dishwasher, vacuum, mow parts of the grass and much, MUCH more. And my parents very rearly let me bye games for the iPad. And I'm not a kid that gets everything she wants either. So getting an iPad does to mean you are spoilt. It just means that your family might have a little more money…

don't worry about it. It just that the whole being spoilt thing is a bit of a spot for me as i have a friend that isn't quite as wealthy as most people and she has been through some tough times. Don't worry about it!

Highly recommend Clash of Clans. At first glance it looks like a big cash in, but I haven't spent a cent on it and it's my favorite iOS game. Make sure you read up on some strategy guides: the game is actually pretty complex.

Super Hexagon is a really addicting game. It costs 2.99, but it's usually on sale in March (Hexagonal Awareness Month) for 0.99 if you want to wait.

Hearthstone is a online card game that's fairly easy to learn, but it's not a game for everyone. I haven't played the iPad version but I do play a lot of the computer version. Give it a try, but you might not like it.

That being said, though the iPad is probably the bottom of the barrel for quality gaming, there is some fun to be had.
I'd recommend:
The Sandbox (World building! Large pixels! Lots of content!)
ROBLOX (Community made games! Lots of variety! Crashes a lot, and the a good portion of the community is one of the worst on the internet…)
Scribblenauts Remix (Create objects, people, animals and more from any word! Apply adjectives and do weird things! Half of the game is locked behind a paywall after you base for the base game…)
Pokemon Shuffle (Pokemon based matching where you can catch the Pokemon! The only matching game I would recommend! FREAKING PAYWALLS!!!!!
Cubic Castles (More world building! Massively multiplayer! Good moderation! Also paywalls again)

The amount of paywalls is why I prefer console gaming.

Super KO Boxing 2 is also pretty good. Closest thing to Punch-Out!! for mobile devices you can get without using emulators.
