option to set a forum post to "resolved"
okay, quite simple, but there should be an option to set a forum post to resolved
how would it work?
if you posted a forum in “help with scripts”, “questions about scratch”, “suggestions” and “bugs and glitches” (maybe some others), you or an admin would be able to set a forum post to “resolved” which would lock the post because a valid answer was given, it would also show up with the forum post data that you can see when clicking on a post
why should this be added?
a lot of people do not read other answers while responding to a forum post, leading to clutter in the comment section of that post, this would kind of act like a barrier to that
by the way, this would NOT replace posts getting locked by admins, as posts should still be lockable by admins if, for example a forum is a duplicate

You can already manually lock a post that you made, it just has to be a day after the topic is made.

It's the “Close topic” button. It appears near the “submit” button 24 hours after you make your topic. You can already manually lock a post that you made, it just has to be a day after the topic is made.oh, whoops, i didnt know that, what icon is it?
it would be good to have a resolved label. because it will stop people posting on resolved topicIf it's resolved and you can't close it yet, you can edit the title to say "[resolved]" or something like that. Or you can just use the Report button and ask a moderator to close it for you.

in all seriousness, though, closing a topic generally marks it as “resolved”. I don't support this suggestion since it's pretty much already implemented in another way.
