How to Make Sound Effects Muffled
I'm working on a game, and I want it to have a main floor, and an underground floor. I want the music to play on the upper floor, but somewhat muffled on the lower floor. Does anyone know how to make sounds muffled?

Speeding the sound up quite a bit (until you can just make it out) and then slowing it back down until it sounds normal seems to work for me.

You're welcome. If that doesn't work for you, try repeatedly speeding up the sound, then slowing it back down right after, basically speed up once and then speed down once until you think it sounds good.Speeding the sound up quite a bit (until you can just make it out) and then slowing it back down until it sounds normal seems to work for me.Thanks, I'll try that!

How to Make Sound Effects Muffled
Hi,
I would probably use an equalizer. If you don't know what that is, it's fine. Just use a site like this: https://audioalter.com/equalizer upload the audio, set the sliders to the following numbers:
32-250hz: 0
500hz: -10
1000hz: -30
2000-16000hz: -40
Then just export it and you're good to go.

-snip-Woah, thank you!
I wasn't expecting something that convenient! I was hoping for a website that could do that, but I didn't think one existed!- Elijah999999
