I sometimes get project could not save error especially when I upload music files and after I reconnect to my internet. This bug of project not saving on scratch after reconnecting to the internet and after uploading sound files. Might be because of my internet speed issues, usually I use windows 10 to go onto scratch.

Can you make a new topic, and do these steps before doing so?
1. Download the project by clicking File in the editor, then clicking “Download to your computer”.
2. Converting the .sb3 file to a zip file (all you have to do for this is rename the file and replace “.sb3” with “.zip”).
3. Unzipping it.
Are any of the sounds more than 10MB?

There may be multiple reasons that scratch projects that can't be saved it is due to: poor internet connectivity, exceeding project limit, exceeding audio size limit, logged out from scratch account, or that the scratch servers are under maintenance.

Uhm, the project limit no longer exists in 3.0.

Oh yeah, I can only have 80 sprites on scratch projects otherwise scratch crashes

The Scratch Team did not fix this error yet. You might want to compress a few stuff.

“Changes not saved, network not connecting” - a common message that pops up. I assume your using a school Chromebook. Could be some issues with the network or the schools security is messing stuff up.
