I think it would be too hard for the scratch team with the resources they have. 3D scratch is rejected for this reason, So I wouldn't be surprised if the scratch team reject this for that reason.

Chat GTP is unmoderated so it can say bad words which is my concern about this feature unless openAI makes it so it can't say the bad words. So far idk if this can be able to be useful and not used to cheat the purpose of scratch (like if it can generate a whole entire project). So idk if AI would be the best idea to improve the current version of Scratch. (Also, I'm not saying anything about 4.0 since 3.0 is still a work in progress)

I feel like partnering with OpenAI would exceed Scratch’s budget, because OpenAI is literally the creator of some of the most insane things ever, and that means they would like a lot of money because they are a big company. No support.

This would cost a lot of money for API calls, and the ST would have to pay for that, so no support.
ChatGPT would also make mistakes and swear, which would be incredibly difficult to combat.

For every possible answer and how precise, it depends on how much data the person puts, and the person themselves. There's gotta be bias, and if there is a mistake the ai will repeat.

Given how small the scratch team is especially at engineers, I don't think this will be a high priority, and even if it is, time consuming.

Making ai's is not easy, and keep in mind the current one is for paid subscribers. That can waste alot of money. It's also, a bot. To the public, and you can't escape bias.

This is talking about another ai, which is OpenAi.
It is similar, however can be argued with the same points of ai controlling the site. Eh, either way open source ai may not be the best ai.
