i'm talking about regular custom blocks
because i once saw a hacked block with a green flag logo or icon in it and i wanted to know if anyone has that anymore

also this might be the wrong section idk

Json could be modified to make the custom block have a green flag on it.

i know but like how

New project
Save to computer
Convert to .zip
Unzip
Open folder
Open .json with text edit or something
Find the custom block
I'm not sure what to do here though I'm trying to figure it out

I believe you found a Scratch 2.0 project. You used to be able to put @greenFlag into the custom block to have the icon, as well as @stop for the stop sign:

The bug was fixed in v423, but if you upload an older project from 2.0 you can still see it (not in 3.0 though).

Okay, do you remember the link to the project? Try using search history if you don't, and it could have been an old project or a project with scratchblocks.github.io

the reason why i made the thread is because i found the project but when i went in it it just wasn't there

the reason why i made the thread is because i found the project but when i went in it it just wasn't there

What did it have instead? It might have disappeared because there's an issue where blocks disappear in 3.0. They sometimes run but other times they don't. Can you link the project?

Well, I can't tell exactly. But they could have also just put “@greenFlag” into a custom block like this:


This bug was fixed by the way in v423, so don't say “it doesn't work in 2.0 or 3.0”.
