How do you get music onto scratch?
Make sure you use .WAV files when uploading sounds. In order to upload music, you must first have the music on your computer (if you are uploading custom music). When you click the last tab on a background or a sprite, click the button that says “Upload from Directory” or something similar. Then, go to the folder (or directory) your music is in. Click open, and depending on file type and size the uploading speed varies.
I said to use .WAV because it uploads much faster, plus it won't crash your computer (like mine once did).

How do you get music onto scratch?
I finally decided to address this issue by doing a thorough guide about this.
(Im using Ubuntu Linux, Chromium 40.0.2214.111, Flash 16.0 (release 0)
Issues
-Sometimes MP3 Files dont work, thats why you have to convert them to .wav (which causes the music quality lower down significantly, well just because .wav sucks. = Use: MP3 TO WAV

Now, lets get to the actual guide
This should be your default. There is no code, but you can fix that by going to the “Sound” page and choosing “play sound - until done” or “play sound -”
Which then looks like this.,.

After you're done with that, press the dropdown arrow, and it should show up like this.

After that, press “record…”
You can choose from these three:
Upload sound from library

or record a new sound

or just take one from your computer

After all of this, choose your music from the dropdown menu that i showed you earlier!

Now just make your own code.
