Hello! At times, problems regarding the Scratch Editor and API arises, which makes it difficult for us to work. This is a help forum, so you can report whenever necessary :) This is a common glitch, so don't worry. The engineers are there to help us fix them.

The common issues are-
1) Not being able to edit
2) Not able to create a new project
3) Not being able to remix a project

I think it's a bit premature to start making claims that it's a maintenance issue or other rumors. Let's wait and see what the engineers say about it.

SOLUTIONS -

1) Download the project into your computer, and continue editing in the offline editor (download if you don't have one). Then when the issue is solved, load it from your computer! If you don't know how to do these, feel free to ask

2) Backpack the sprites and backdrops. If you don't know how to do it, ask! {Credits to RDash75}

I’m not sure if this was meant to be a design choice (at least I think it is), but I remember seeing a github issue about this, and it’s a 3.0 thing that happened.

My Scratch paint editor often is undo-ing the most recent change to a back-drop if I am switching to edit another back drop after making changes. However, I have recently come across a strange error.

I was making a animation with the back drops in a project. It involving black line art with a white back ground on each frame. Each frame is drawn in line art, and then I am shift-click the empty space to filling with white when the line art is finish in a frame.
