Remove the ability for managers to remove others.

This is a huge problem, as this can lead to studios being smashed into pieces for no reason. Let's say you were doing something in the studio and out of nowhere, you get kicked by somebody. It's really annoying and I hope the ability will have different modes because it's really a big issue.

EDIT: You will still be able to remove yourself, but there will be 3 options for people removing others.

  • On - Managers can remove anyone. (ALERT THE USER)
  • Remove Curators Only - Managers can only remove curators and themselves. (Recommended)
  • Request - Trying to remove a manager user will request the owner if you can do that action unless they are trying to remove themselves. (Unrecommended)
  • Off - Trying to remove others as a manager will result in an error unless they are trying to remove themselves. (Default)

Alerts:

WARNING!

This can lead to all of your members being kicked from the studio. This feature should NOT be used unless you want people managing your studio for you. By clicking yes, you understand that a studio manager can remove everyone in your studio when you're inactive. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

That's all I have for now.

Remove the ability for managers to remove others.

Support ONLY if it's toggleable. If a host wants to make sure the only manager that they can remove is themselves. Otherwise there is no point of being a manager because sometimes a curator could have trouble removing themselves and if the host is inactive. The manager can remove by request. I had to ask a manager to remove me since I could not find myself in the studio.

He means studios getting raided, which means all the curators and managers are removed by a manager ultimately, deleting himself.

Managers might as well be removed then, they wouldn’t be able to do anything other than invite.
If you choose your managers carefully then it wouldn’t happen.

If you don't want someone to have the privilege to remove other studio members, simply don't promote them to manager status. There are cases where it's useful for collaborators to be able to add and remove members, such as if the host doesn't have enough time to do so.

Remove the ability for managers to remove others.

Just look in the activity/remove them while they are doing it or don’t promote them in the first place then.

If you don't want someone to smash the studio to bits, don't promote them to manager status, but if the owner doesn't let anyone to remove other managers and there's a manager doing bad stuff, then it's not good. There's also a chance that the owner can abuse it.

Remove the ability for managers to remove others.

No support. Like, none at all.

There are many reasons somebody would need to be removed from a studio. The studio's host isn't always there to keep track of everything- that's what managers are meant to be for.

I've seen studios where the host isn't active anymore or has moved accounts. The managers would be unable to remove an offending curator! Sure, studio raids are a risk… but at least the host (or I think another manager) can remove the raider!

I understand where this suggestion is coming from, but it just wouldn't work.
please, managers have been nerfed enough already!

edited for grammar

I don’t think it a good idea. If the Host leaves scratch or get banned the studio would not be available to active again. For example HarryPoter1607 got banned in the middle of a studio featured but the others mangers where helping.

I mean, such a feature could be used against raiding. And if it's toggleable, there isn't a problem with it. Just make sure it's off. The only thing I could say is that the option should be a drop-down, near where the curator bar is. This could be abused, and it could be bad. However, if it wasn't a problem, we would need the manager update in the first place. However, it takes away the only power managers have. Thats kind of a problem.
