One of my friends whose username is @Gamerules09 has seen a bug where entering a social media name gets him muted for 10 minutes. He had to use his other account when that happened.
Social media names are not personal info, personal info is your full name.

Scratch probably thinks that they're sharing their username on that social media, which would be considered personal info if that social media is unmoderated.

Social Media names are technically personal info, that's why they are blocked.

Because they can track your personal info. And since it's unmoderated people can ask you about it.

it happened to me too. I litterally got banned for saying something about love. Litterally. So dont get surprised…

Maybe I will make a suggestion for them to allow love.

This is not a bug - it is intentional. Many social media sites are unmoderated or very lightly moderated, meaning that they don't prevent the exchange of personal information. So we attempt to prevent that by discouraging Scratchers from inviting other Scratchers to other social media sites.
