I've noticed a bunch of people saying “f4f” in places on scratch. I looked it up, and I got “first four figures”, which just made me more confused, and “Grumman f4f Wildcat” airplane, which also gave me utter confusion. Neither of these work in the context that people use them in.

You give a follow to that person and they follow you.

“F4F” means "follow for follow. This is used as a way to gain followers across many websites, including Scratch.

Follow for follow. It's a way to get follows quickly. Most scratchers disapprove of this practice.
