How do I use cloud variables? I am new to Scratch and am making a game using Scratch Programming in easy steps.

Cloud variables are variables that can be updated via the internet. For example, if I have a game that has a highscore cloud variable, and my friend from across the country beats the highscore, the highscore will be updated for everyone using the project.
As another user said, you need to get Scratcher status to use them, this can be done by making projects and being active in the community

First of all, you need to be a “Scratcher” under your profile. When you go to your profile, it will either say “Scratcher” or “New Scratcher”. If it says “New Scratcher” you need to keep using scratch and stuff until you become a Scratcher. Once you become a Scratcher, you will be able to select “Cloud (stored on server)” when making a new variable. Note that cloud variables can only store numbers though, not letters.

You need to be on an account with the Scratcher rank and your project must have at most 10 cloud variables.
