Scratch needs a pineapple emoji

I don't think it should be added, and it could possibly bet used as a replacement for an emoji that is used for bad uses outside of Scratch. OP doesn't even add reasons as to WHY they want it.

There already exists a pineapple emoji; Scratch just needs to fix what catastrophic bug is not letting emojis being posted on the site.

Yeah, I think so too! I was creating a project about a band called The Happy Fits and they use a pineapple to recognize their band sometimes and I couldn't get a pineapple emoji

But honestly, it isn't that important. If they were to create a pineapple emoji, they would have to create all the other existing emojis! That would be a lot on ST!

They are being used in a way that wasn't intended. More like, “YAY!!!” than, “HAHA THAT'S SO FUNNY!!!” So, that might be causing some confusion.

There's already a bunch of “Scratch Emojis,” but Scratch still doesn't have to make their own version of every single unicode one.

To answer #1, a pineapple emoji is kind of a novelty. There are better places the Scratch Team could focus their energy, as others have stated.

Unfortunately, no. If they created the pineapple emoji, they have to create emojis, and I mean ALL of the Unicode emojis and that will be a lot for the Scratch Team. There's no reason for Scratch to add another food emoji.
