Joking about strokes is like joking about having mental health issues. It isn't funny. Stroke victims can't speak or move properly.
So yes, joking about strokes is offensive.

It refers to a place in read it so if they search it they could find the place and discover the site and so on, which would be something not that great since the same site has the darkest stuff you can find on the internet.

you are allowed to say r/subreddit or something, that's allowed
heck even reddit is allowed to be said on scratch somehow
i don't think it would be bad and it probably follows guidelines but you probably shouldn't say it to someone who has actually had a stroke

From my knowledge, “stroke” in terms of r/ihadastroke is shorthand for “keystroke”, and they do make this distinction clear. No comment on if it should be allowed or not. Joking about strokes is like joking about having mental health issues. It isn't funny. Stroke victims can't speak or move properly.
So yes, joking about strokes is offensive.
